Self - Reflection - How can it help?

Today, on Remembrance Sunday,  it is a day of remembering and reflecting for many around the world.

Do you ever take the time to self-reflect on your own journey? Where you are going or where you want to be?

Self-reflecting is taking the time to look at your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, often in response to a particular event or incident.

It creates awareness and understanding about you, determining areas that may need improvement and discovering areas where you are strong.

Writing in a journal, writing poetry, quietly sitting with your eyes closed, meditation, walking, or talking to a close friend or family member, are all ways of self-reflecting.

Perhaps you are stuck, in your job, in your relationship, or in general. Pausing and understanding yourself better, can help you reach and achieve your goals, and help you fulfil those unmet expectations.

By self-reflecting, you open yourself up to new opportunities.
You find new ways to be thankful.

Finding YOU
31 Oct, 2020
If I care for me, then I can care for you. If I can care for me, then I can teach you how to better care for yourself. If you care for you, then you can teach others how to treat you. If you care for you, then you give others permission to care for themselves. If others care for themselves, then they start to care for each other. If others care for each other, then they start to care for the planet. If we all care for ourselves, each other and the planet, then we create the kind of change that builds a positive future for our children. It all starts with self-care.
