Why should you come to counselling?


Life is a journey that can sometimes present challenges. Often making us feel lost or overwhelmed. If you are experiencing any of these issues, I can work with you to find a better balance in your life.


Perhaps you just need some guidance or support, a safe place to fully explore a traumatic event or past trauma. Discovering how your early life, relationships, your current circumstances or difficult histories can impact your behaviours and develop unhealthy patterns. 


 I believe in the importance of identifying these unhelpful patterns and move beyond your limitations. Gaining self-awareness, and developing  new life skills can have a positive impact on your mental and emotional health, and is key to implementing lasting change.


In turn, this will allow you to have a deeper understanding of who you are and why you do the things you do. It will also empower you to make your own decisions about what is best for you.


People from all walks of life come to counselling for many reasons.  Sometimes you don't fully understand what is going on for you, and you need help in identifying the main issues and concerns you are currently facing.  Anxiety, Depression and Mental Stress are all examples of this.



Once you have a clear perspective of what you see as the problem areas in your life, you can manage them in a much better way.  Counselling can enable you to be a stronger version of yourself.
